James will be busy these next two years. In addition to furthering his education he will be interning as Assistant to the Pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Titusville.
James will develop outreach programs, coordinate and maintain the website, lead special events, and teach new-member classes. He will also work to develop community partnerships and build a mercy ministry vision, team and budget. James will also be required to preach at least once per quarter.
Joyce is excited about her “re-invented” ministry. She will be reaching out to her family in new and unusual ways. By returning to the full-time work force Joyce is putting ministry to her family first. Joyce views her opportunity to return to a secular job as a ministry to her husband. Her full-time secular job will free his schedule to complete the training he needs to fulfill his calling. She is also excited to see how God will use the changes in family dynamics to develop the children’s understanding of marriage and teamwork and the many ways that God might call one to make sacrifices for another. She will also remain active as a layworker in the church filling needs as God leads.
